Cancellations made 30 days prior to the reservation date will be refunded minus $15 service charge. No refunds will be given for early departure

Yes. We have a very steep driveway. The entryway is in the back and when you arrive you will pull all the way to the top back and come in there. After you unload, we will communicate about the best place for parking.

For the guests using the Fish/Duck suite or Fish Room, there is a private entrance with a keypad. For the guests in Bear and Deer rooms, there are two entry ways and the main entryway has a keypad so entry is possible at all times.

Yes. Please inform us prior to arrival of any food restrictions and we will do our best to accomodate.

Ruth has ALWAYS been a clean freak! Even more so now, we are doing everything humanly possible to ensure the safety of our guests and ourselves. Cleaning and sanitizing procedures have been studied and are used here at Habakkuk House.

We are only 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic from Gatlinburg.

We, in Townsend, pride ourselves in being on the Quiet Side of the Smokies! Townsend is a quiet town just 5 minutes from the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Habakkuk House is about 8 minutes from center of Townsend. In Townsend, you can walk the trail, bike the trail, visit Tuckaleechee Caverns, Tube the Little River, swim, workout, or Golf at Wild Laurel. It is only a 30 minute drive to Beautiful Cades Cove where you can see how the pioneers lived and catch occasional glimpses of bear, deer, turkey and other animals.
